Sara Idacavage is a fashion historian and archivist with a background in fashion journalism. She currently works as the Collections Manager of the Parsons Fashion Study Collection. In addition to writing a monthly history column for Fashionista and serving as an Associate Editor of The Fashion Studies Journal, Sara has contributed to the Berg Encyclopedia of World Dress and Fashion, as well as academic journals that include Fashion Theory, Art Libraries Journal, and Fashion, Style & Popular Culture. Outside of teaching at Pratt and Parsons School of Design, Sara has conducted a series of history lectures and design workshops at universities across China.
