Max is a theatermaker, educator, journalist, and design strategist based in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. He is a Joker with Theatre of the Oppressed NYC and a Senior Educator at the New-York Historical Society, where he was Creative Director for "History on Broadway," a new outreach program using theater to teach American history. He is one of the producers of "Unsettled," a monthly podcast about Israel-Palestine and the Jewish diaspora, and working on a limited podcast series about Central Brooklyn public schools for Brooklyn Deep. He previously worked at the intersection of performance and community engagement for Theatre Development Fund, Manhattan New Music Project, and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company.
