I am an architect and a historian of architecture of the modern period, engaging with themes of religion, internationalism, and philanthropy across the "Islamic world" and the U.S. empire. Currently, I am working on a book manuscript titled, "Building Protestant Modernism: John D. Rockefeller Jr. and the Architecture of an American Internationalism (1919-1939)."
