Aaron Beebe is a visual artist, curator, and technology project manager. His artistic practice is informed by a career spent immersed in museums, restoration studios, and archives, and combines CNC-based robotic technology and traditional crafts in service to environmental and psychogeographic concerns. He is a cofounder of the Morbid Anatomy Museum, a 21st-century dime museum; he has worked as an independent curator for galleries and museums in North America and Mumbai; and he was the Director of the Coney Island Museum, a space that used contemporary art and a historic collection to explore the history of spectacle. He has been awarded grants from the Jerome Foundation for research in Kolkata, and the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, among others. He holds a BFA in Drawing and Painting from the Ohio State University and an MA in Interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in Art History and Anthropology from New York University.
