Molly Roberts is an experienced designer and educator, having focused her career on product design, materials, and interior architectural design since earning her Masters in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute in 2000. Molly holds a BA in Business Management & Marketing with a focus in Art History. Following her Masters degree at Pratt, Molly designed packaging and tabletop products for an international trading company, and also designed for Tumi luggage in its men’s and women’s handbag division. Molly brings this extensive industry experience to the classroom—including her hands-on experience managing product manufacturing in Taiwan and China. Molly has been teaching design at Pratt Institute for over twelve years in the School of Design Industrial Design and Foundation (Space, Form, Process), as well as teaching sophomore product design at Parsons School of Design since 2016. Molly is the principal of her own design consultancy, working with clients to design soft goods, interior architectural construction designs, packaging, corporate identities, marketing collateral, and retail exhibition booths.
