Biography

Teaching interests are broad and inter-disciplinary ranging from topics on colonialism and comparative frontiers to the problems of race and nation making in the 19th to the 21st centuries, and Globalization; research interests include issues of slavery, popular politics and resistance, culture and identity in Latin America, the Anglophone Caribbean and the Atlantic diaspora.
