The Road to Professional Certification: an Exhibition of Performance Assessment

This multi-media installation showcases a performance assessment (edTPA) required for certification to teach visual arts (all grades) in New York State. Featuring the work of Jillian Leedy (MS ADE, 2017), it includes teaching videos, students’ work, and written analysis. This innovative approach connects contemporary art and artistic practice to the art classroom, and reveals the art of teaching at the mastery level.
