The issue’s thirty-two essays, interviews, and book reviews describe the conditions of a new era of climate change and invite us to assemble as friends of all the living.

Topics include contemporary climate art and aesthetics, trans and queer ecology, decolonial theory, climate history, political theory, climate philosophy, comparative philosophy, and the ethics of emerging technologies such as AI. Contributors include Dipesh Chakrabarty, Mohamed Amer Meziane, Timothy Morton, the We Smell Gas collective, Aimee van Wynsberghe, Yuk Hui, Hiroshi Abe, Thomas Khurana, Thomas Nail, María Cariola, Leela Gandhi, Perry Zurn, Claudia Baracchi, Lynne Huffer, and others.

The event will be co-moderated by Andrés Saenz de Sicilia of The Philosopher and Travis Holloway, editor of the special issue and author of How to Live at the End of the World.
