The 2026 Material Lab Prize Exhibition

Now in its seventh year, the Material Lab Prize is an annual design competition at Pratt that exhibits outstanding student design, and presents an opportunity to see interdisciplinary student work on display. Come see architecture, fashion, and industrial design projects all in dialogue with one another on craft, material manipulation, and the act of making here on campus.

Each year, a rotating jury of designers and design professionals for whom craft and material research is central to their work review the shortlisted projects in this exhibit to name a winner.

All shortlisted projects are on view in the School of Design from Thursday, October 1 through to Saturday, October 17.
