Supporting Faculty at Pratt: A Conversation with NCFDD
November 6, 2026 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
DDA Screening Room, Myrtle Hall, Room 3E-02, 536 Myrtle Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11205
Please join us for an afternoon of conversation and connection. Coffee and cookies will be served!
All faculty and staff interested in faculty development are welcome to attend.
Join us for a conversation with Frank Sesso, Partner Success Director of NCFDD, to explore the professional development resources available to Pratt faculty through the Institute’s NCFDD institutional membership.
NCFDD (formerly known as the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity) offers a range of resources, through its online platform, designed to support faculty across career stages, including mentoring, professional development, writing and productivity strategies, career planning, and building supportive professional networks.
This informal gathering will provide an opportunity to learn more about NCFDD’s offerings, consider how these resources might complement faculty development efforts already underway at Pratt, and explore possibilities for strengthening faculty support across the Institute.
During the session, participants will have opportunities to:
- Learn about NCFDD resources and how to access them through Pratt’s institutional membership.
- Explore strategies for building networks of mentors, sponsors, and collaborators.
- Consider how NCFDD’s offerings might complement existing faculty development opportunities at Pratt.
- Share ideas about how these resources could support faculty across career stages and appointment types.
Please register using the RSVP button.
We look forward to seeing you!
Hosted by the Office of Academic Affairs, as part of ongoing efforts to support faculty development across Pratt.
