Pratt Student-Alumni Day of Service 2026: Crafting Puppets for Brooklyn Daycare Centers

We invite you to join our 3rd Annual Day of Service, a volunteering opportunity led by Pratt’s Community Engagement Board. This is a unique opportunity for Pratt students and alumni to get together, reconnect, and make a positive impact in our local community.

This year we will be supporting four local childcare centers in Brooklyn: Star-A-Kidz Preschool, Shining Smiles Daycare, Playto, and Honeydew Drop Childcare. Pratt students and alumni will be crafting handmade puppets for their young students using a variety of child-friendly materials. We are aiming to create at least 60 puppets to evenly distribute. All supplies will be provided.
