Speaker Series, Spring 2026: Nicolás Pereda

Professor Matías Piñeiro, and the students in Spring ’26’s Filmmaker Focus class, welcome filmmaker Nicolás Pereda for a screening followed by a Q&A.

Nicolás Pereda (b. 1982) combines fiction and documentary techniques to explore the everyday. His work has been featured in more than 30 retrospectives and screened at festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Locarno, and Toronto, as well as in museums including the Reina Sofía and MoMA. Currently, he teaches at Princeton University.
