Learn about the historic Ottoman school of Arabic calligraphy which traces back centuries from Khalid Pablo Casado, a master who received his icazet or calligraphy diploma in sülüs and nesih styles at IRCICA (Research Center for Islamic History Art and Culture), signed by the masters Hassan Celebi, Ferhat Kurlu and Nuria García. After a presentation on the history of this art form, there will be a hands on workshop for students to practice this age old art.

This event is open to the public.
