Roundtable: Non-Binary Ecologies and Hertiage

Speakers: Victoria Munro, Executive Director, Alice House Museum; Dr. Harriet Harriss, Professor of Historic Preservation; moderated by Tarin Jones, MSHP ’24 & Barbaralee Diamondstein-Spielvogel Fellow. This discussion expands on a text co-authored by Dr. Harriss that links Ecology and Queer Theory. It explores non-binary Ecology, which has great potential as a positive influence on heritage preservation practice. These concepts will be considered in a dialogue with Victoria Munro, Executive Director of the Alice House Museum and steward of the historic house and gardens that were once the home of the notable queer photographer.
