Resilience Thinking Through Nonhuman Ontologies
April 7, 2026 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
North Hall 107, 200 Willoughby Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11205
This workshop explores the entanglement of ecology and Indigenous landscape through the story of Giant Hogweed in the post-war Sudetenland. Led by Fulbright Scholars Adam Vackar, Rafael de Balanzo and Donata Kraskauskaite, it invites participants to question who decides what belongs—and where. Participants will engage in a live presentation followed by a speculative design process for the Future Pratt Campuses connector. Come prepared to rethink the boundaries between human and nonhuman worlds.
