Pratt Sessions: Farshid Moussavi

Farshid Moussavi OBE RA is an internationally acclaimed architect, writer, and educator. She is founder and principal of Farshid Moussavi Architecture (FMA), whose award-winning projects include the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland and the recently completed Ismaili Center Houston. Moussavi’s work is at the forefront of critical debate about architecture. Author of four books, including Architecture and Micropolitics (2022), she advances a vision of architecture grounded in responsiveness, openness, and change. Alongside more than three decades of teaching, she is Professor in Practice of Architecture at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where she continues to shape architectural discourse.
