This 2-day pop-up exhibit shares student field-work using DIY hydrophones and different methods to interpret the waterway and material aspects of the Gowanus Canal, gathered during our PEAW workshop at the RETI center led by Mary Mattingly (Civic Engagement Fellow, Pratt School of Art) & Gita Nandan (R.A. founder, RETI board chair and Pratt SES faculty). With a mix of creative, historical, and scientific approaches these works act as a backdrop to our roundtable discussions with researchers and faculty spanning the schools of art and architecture.
