Other Islands Book Fair

Pratt Institute’s Department of Graduate Communications Design is delighted to announce the return of the Other Islands Book Fair, a celebration of independent publishing, community building, and creativity. This year, the fair will take place on Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14, on Pratt’s Brooklyn campus.

The Other Islands Book Fair serves as a vital platform for local publishers, community builders, designers, artists, and creatives to come together and showcase their work. It offers a unique opportunity for the local community to engage with a diverse range of creative productions and interact with exhibitors who share a collective commitment to independent publishing.

This year the fair hosts about 45 vendors and focuses on community engagement and dialogue. The space is ample, and we cap entries to allow deeper conversation and exchange between all participants.
