Lavender Graduation

The Office of Student Involvement and Alumni Engagement are excited to invite graduating LGBTQIA+ students to Pratt Institute’s Lavender Graduation. Pratt’s Lavender Graduation is an annual ceremony to recognize, acknowledge and celebrate the achievements and contributions of our graduating LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, plus) students.

Please wear festive attire to the ceremony.

This joyful occasion will feature:

a welcome from President Bronet and Justin Kelley, Assistant Vice President for Student Life

an alumni address from Divya Anantharaman (she/they), Fashion Design ’05, who is an entrepreneur and taxidermist

recognition of the graduates

presentation of rainbow cords that are to be worn at Commencement the next day
