A conversation with Rosmarie Tissi, Jiminie Ha, and Samantha Bittman

Participants:

Juliette Cezzar (moderator) is a designer, educator, and author based in New York City.

Samantha Bittman is a weaver and painter, who currently has an installation on view at the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) and recently completed an artist residency at the Albers Foundation, CT.

Jiminie Ha is the founder of With Projects, Inc. a multidisciplinary studio, which first began as a gallery in New York City, 2008.

Rosmarie Tissi is a graphic designer based in Zürich, Switzerland. She founded the studio Odermatt & Tissi with Siegfried Odermatt in 1968.


The exhibition Albers, Lustig Cohen, Tissi, 1958-2018, curated by Phillip Niemeyer, that explores sixty years of graphic design and art work by three influential women artist-designers: Anni Albers, Elaine Lustig Cohen, and Rosmarie Tissi, continues through April 28.
