Higgins Hall Auditorium, 61 St. James Place, Brooklyn, NY 11238
Join us on October 22nd at 6:15pm for a presentation by William Horgan, AIA, RIBA, Partner at Grimshaw.
William will discuss the firm’s passion for ingenuity in architecture, from its origins designing modest but inventive industrial buildings to the large-scale transportation and cultural buildings it is known for today. Featured projects will include Herman Miller Factory, Waterloo International Terminal, Eden Project, EMPAC, Frost Museum, the Walton Center for Planetary Health at ASU, and others. The talk will touch on the challenges of growing from a single office of thirty people to an international firm with eight offices and six hundred staff, and the journey Grimshaw is committed to as it evolves its environmental design focus from decarbonization to regenerative design.
