“Field Archive: Pratt Landscape Architecture in Process” Opening

March 24, 2026 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Higgins Hall Gallery, 61 St. James Place, Brooklyn, NY 11238

Wide outdoor scene of a wooded hillside with tall trees and leaf-covered ground. Several people are dispersed across the slope, working among clusters of thin wooden stakes arranged in curved and linear patterns embedded in the soil. Some individuals stand and observe, while others bend or walk carefully along the uneven terrain. The setting suggests a collaborative land-based art or environmental installation in progress within a forested area under natural daylight.

Exhibition Opening and Reception for “Field Archive: Pratt Landscape Architecture in Process”

Field Archive presents Masters of Landscape Architecture [MLA] student work advancing land-based research and design at the cutting edge of climate and public change. The exhibition features selected studio projects and research from across all three years of the program, showcasing the emerging designers of the MLA program. The exhibition foregrounds landscape as a field condition shaped by research, collaboration, and material investigation. Drawings, models, mappings, and full-scale studies are brought together through an interactive exhibition design that invites visitors to move across projects.. Emphasizing process, Field Archives reveals landscape architecture as iterative practice: grounded in observation, expanded through dialogue, and continuously in formation.
