Faculty Futures Part-Time Faculty Mentorship FA26 Kick Off

The Faculty Futures Part-Time Faculty Mentorship program, sponsored by the Office of the Provost with oversight from our Mentorship Faculty Working group is hosting the Fall 2026 Kick Off event on Tuesday, September 29th from 2-6pm. Goals of the program include supporting part-time faculty well-being, professional development, academic advancement, and community building through engagement with professional development opportunities, evaluating the understanding of advancement requirements, and highlighting campus resources. The program is intended to also provide impact on intangible benefits, such as creating a sense of belonging, reduced isolation, and increased agency.

The program designed for visiting faculty members currently engages part time faculty with visiting status, with more than two years of experience teaching at Pratt, and matches them with tenured part-time and full-time faculty. Faculty must be able to attend the mandatory Fall 2026 Kick Off, scheduled for Friday, September 29, from 2–6pm.
