Scenario planning for alternative climate futures: what science, policy, economic, design, and societal changes are needed?
Re-inventing the future: a storylines scenario-building workshop to help ideate on and center different climate futures. What are the science, political, economic, and societal changes and tools we need to achieve different climate futures? Are there existing tools and technologies, or are there things we’ve never created that have to be invented? The IPCC uses five core storylines to illustrate different climate outcomes and assess wider socio-economic impacts. The workshop will start from there and invite attendees to explore alternate scenarios and build their own climate futures in groups.
