A special holiday gathering Event for our neighbors living in shelters

f you are staying on or near campus this winter season, please consider joining Clinton Hill mutual aid organizers and various Pratt community members in supporting a special holiday gathering for our neighbors living in shelters.
Holiday Gathering Event Details:
Date: Sunday, December 21st
Event Time: 2:00 PM â 4:00 PM
Volunteer Time: Arrive at 1:00 PM and support clean-up until 5:00 PM
Location: All volunteers will meet event organizers in the Student Union
As a volunteer at this special event, you may be asked to:
Guide guests through Pratt’s campus to the Dining Hall
Help to organize and serve a holiday-themed meal
Distribute toys and gifts to guests
Facilitate a fun art-based activity for children
If you speak Spanish, you may be asked to assist with translation, as many families speak Spanish. Some families also speak Mandarin and other languages
Support with event set-up and clean-up
If you are interested in supporting this event, please RSVP on Engage or drop by the Student Union at 1pm on Sunday to volunteer.
If you are unable to attend the gathering, but still want to support families residing in local shelters, please consider:
If you have a meal plan or points, you can donate a meal swipe in support of the Special Holiday Gathering throughout the week of December 7th – 12th! Stop by the Dining Hall and let Pratt Dining Team at the register know about your interest in donating, and they will provide next steps.
Donating clean and lightly used warm clothing items to MAIN 008 or the ARC.
