A Conversation with Friends of Abolitionist Place

Pratt’s Historic Preservation invites you to a conversation with Friends of Abolitionist Place! Join us to hear our hosts, Shawne’ Lee and Raul Rothblatt, teach us about their work preserving, interpreting, and sharing the history of abolitionism and black liberation in Downtown Brooklyn. The conversation will explore the history and significance of Friends of Abolitionist Place, ongoing community advocacy, and the role of preservation in keeping this important history visible and meaningful for future generations.
