    Thursday

    6:00 pm – 8:50 pm

    Higgins Hall North, 105

In this graduate-level architecture seminar, students engage in a research exploration of the fundamental question: What is Design? The course elaborates an ontology of design, examining various concepts of design, and how they parallel modes of design production. Through critical analysis and case studies, students will gain a deeper understanding of the philosophical underpinnings of design and how they relate to design practice.
