In this graduate-level architecture seminar, students will engage in a design research exploration of the fundamental question: 'What's design?' The course will delve into the ontology of design, examining various concepts of design, and how they inform design production. Through critical analysis and case studies, students will gain a deeper understanding of the philosophical underpinnings of design and how they shape design practice.
