Thesis I is the first semester of a year-long, self-directed course under the guidance of the faculty thesis committee. Students examine and explore current and critical industry issues of their choice while creating a body of work of significant scale, complexity and artistry. Taught in dialogue with "Fashion Statements" and "Graduate Thesis Writing," Thesis I asks students to establish the research foundation for their work, with emphasis on substantial experimentation across making and critical engagement.
