ARCH-881DP Projecting Metropolitan Arch

3 Credits

  • ARCH-881DP-01

    Monday

    2:00 pm – 4:50 pm

    Higgins Hall Center, 016

This graduate seminar examines the design work and theoretical repertoire of the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) since its founding in 1975. We will undertake parallel, close readings of texts and projects in order to develop a critical definition of metropolitan architecture. The semester project requires students to articulate an original theoretical claim on the body of work by synthesizing historical research, critical writing, and analytical drawing.
