HAD-483 Digital History of Art and Design

Historians of art and design use data all the time, whether analyzing images, collections or events. This course introduces students to digital tools that expand and complement other methodologies while also familiarizing them with the emerging field of digital history of art and design. Through study of concepts, case studies, basic software and digital tools, as well as recent developments, students will gain a foundation in the field and have the opportunity to apply what they learn to their own project in the history of art and design.
