This class is for students who want to explore how to write creatively about historical art, contemporary art, and the issues surrounding it. Any method is encouraged. Experimental or non-traditional critical approaches are emphasized. Reading historical, literary, avant-garde, and socially aware essays and reviews as starting points, students will produce original works of criticism and analysis.
