This course is designed to teach the complete pipeline and process for the creation of a CG animated short. Students will, under the guidance of the instructor, integrate the skills they are learning in concurrent DDA modeling and animation classes to develop and produce a short film. Along the way, students will achieve key benchmarks including: a story logline, synopsis, treatment, a 2D and 3D animatic. Students will use an internet character rig (not constructed by them) for their characters. They will be also allowed to use modeling assets from their 3D Modeling 1 for environmental assets.
