Overview of the Counseling Center
At the Counseling Center, our mission is to provide Pratt Institute students with high-quality, easy-to-access counseling support. We know that college life can bring unique challenges, and we’re here to help you navigate them. Our team assists students in achieving their highest creative and academic potentials while ensuring that their mental health needs are met, regardless of their ability to pay.
We offer focused, short-term counseling designed to help you reach your goals. We value who you are, recognizing and building upon your individual strengths. If you ever need more specialized or longer-term care, we’ll be your guide, connecting you with excellent resources both on campus and in the broader community. We also partner closely with faculty and staff, helping them identify and support students who might benefit from our services. Our commitment extends to the entire Pratt community through educational initiatives and outreach programs focused on wellness and prevention. Beyond individual sessions, we’re dedicated to fostering a culture of well-being across campus.
