Pratt Institute’s Off Campus Housing Resource Services provides tips, tools, and search engines to help students and faculty find the apartment and location that meets their requests. Many of these services offer one-on-one housing counseling and will guide you through an application process.
Educational Housing Services (EHS)
Educational Housing Services (EHS) is a not-for-profit organization that provides safe and affordable fully furnished housing to students and interns coming to New York City throughout the year. EHS manages multiple properties throughout New York City and Brooklyn and is a great short-term housing option that offers the opportunity to live in a community with your peers.

transparentcity.co is a dedicated NYC no fee apartment platform where renters can save money on broker fees by being connected directly to management companies.
ListingsProject.com
Listings Project is a free weekly compilation of vetted real estate listings and other opportunities geared towards artists and creatives. The newsletter comes out every Wednesday and advertises spaces such as: apartments and rooms for rent, sublets, lease takeovers, live/work spaces, art studio spaces, and swaps. They do not allow apartments with fees or brokers to list on the site. Subscribe to the list for free. There is a fee to post listings. Pratt students receive a $15 discount to post to the list when they contact jordan@listingsproject.com with their university email.
Diggz
Diggz is a marketplace to find roommates and rentals that covers all your basis: Find rooms for rent, roommates to fill your empty room, or partner up with someone to find a new place of your own anywhere in the NYC area. Diggz is a free service that connects you to like-minded prospective roommates with similar lifestyle attributes and preferences, leveraging a proprietary matching algorithm. Diggz also allows you to search for apartments and contact the landlord or exclusive broker directly.
