The Mental Health Advocate Program provides an opportunity for Pratt students to gain knowledge of mental health concerns and resources to encourage their peers to seek care. We invite any student interested in sustaining a culture of well-being and support to join the Mental Health Advocate Program today.
Advocates are not trained mental health practitioners, crisis counselors or coaches; they are compassionate student leaders with the appropriate mental health and institutional knowledge to direct others to appropriate resources.
Completion of each stage enters students to win a healthy prize, with the prize value increasing with each level.
Email rww@pratt.edu with any questions or concerns about the program.
This program is inspired by the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s UAB Enterprise Mental Health Advocate Program. We thank them for their guidance and generosity of ideas.
