Biography

I am interested in how users process different forms of auditory and visual information in virtual environments. Although recent development of multi-sensory media allows us to integrate different forms of information into a simple application, a multimedia system is more difficult to build and maintain than a traditional media.

My research interest was shaped during my master degree (MIME-Master of Immersive Media Environment) at Indiana University. It gave me invaluable experience with and insights on multimedia applications in designers’ point of view and as a Ph. D student became more focused on human cognitive processing and perceptual experience, which should be underlying design priciples
