Biography

Cheryl Stockton is founder and Creative Director at Stockshot Studio, offering website, identity and graphic design services, as well as the development of photographic imagery for clients. Her photography has been seen in Health and Fitness Magazines, Elle, Shape, German Shape, Page 6 Magazine, Yoga Mom, Sati Life, Yoga Works, PIX11 Morning News webblog, Forbes.com, Yahoo Finance, MSNBC, HealthNewsDigest.com, Yahoo Biz, healthynewage.com, thestreet.com, psychologytoday.com and Global Learning Across Borders.

Select design work includes: Sati Life, Powerstrike, Patricia Moreno, Premium JSI, GeorgeBStyle,  ECA World Fitness, Art of Conservation, Pratt Professional Studies, Queens Council on the Arts, New York Law School, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Ms Stockton is Adjunct Associate Professor at Pratt where she teaches Photographic Imaging and Design for the Web. She founded and directed the Study Abroad program, the Artistic Traditions of Himalayan Art, traveling with students to Tibet for 40 days in 2007.  In 2008 she trekked for 7 days to Machu Picchu, Peru by the Salkantay route. Cheryl exhibits her fine art work in group and one woman shows.
