Education B.A. Geography, Clark University M.S. City and Regional Planning, Pratt Institute Biography John Shapiro is Chair of Pratt Institute’s Graduate Center for Planning and the Environment. Prior to his appointment as Chair, he was a principal of Phillips Price Shapiro Associates, Inc. He has instructed at Princeton University and the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Shapiro has previously worked for BFJ Planning and the New York Landmarks Conservancy.
