Biography

Kate Zidar is an Environmental Planner working on ecological infrastructure in New York City. Kate was the first Director of Habana Works, the non-profit organization based out of Habana Outpost in Ft. Greene, Brooklyn. Kate is a founding member of the Stormwater Infrastructure Matters (SWIM) Coalition and the North Brooklyn Compost Project. She has worked previously for Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice, Lower East Side Ecology Center, the Planning Center at Municipal Art Society, NYC Housing Authority and Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy.
