"Playing Within The Lines"
I explored minimalism as expansiveness, where white space becomes both material and meaning. Within this openness, I used bold geometries to test how a single message could transform depending on its form. Each design contained the same information, yet presented it in a distinctly different way. By shifting scale, weight, and composition, I invited the viewer’s eye to move differently each time; sometimes led directly to the center, other times pulled to the edges or suspended in the blank space. This play with perception turned repetition into discovery, showing how minimalism can heighten attention and offer much more. The project revealed how design can expand meaning not by adding more, but by offering the viewer a puzzle worth solving.

A minimalist white page with sparse black text elements arranged in widely spaced positions. Phrases include “Graphic Design Intensive,” “5/SU.A.DG.2-205,” “Pratt Manhattan G,” “Course Number: 2,” “17,” and “Room 5.” Some text appears rotated, and most of the page remains empty.
