“Final project for the Pratt CAD and 3D modeling summer course. Applied all tools, tricks, and learnings from the class to prepare the drawing and render for a custom piano medallion for Steinway & Sons, the limited edition Sunburst piano. Medallion in polished brass with black ink and brass wood screws. Final drawing ready to submit to vendors for quoting and production.”

Four-panel layout showing the design development of a brass-and-black metal medallion plaque for Steinway & Sons’ “Sunburst Collection.” Top-left: a CAD wireframe with screw locations marked in yellow. Top-right: a clean rendered flat design featuring gold borders and gold script lettering. Bottom-left and bottom-right: angled 3D renders of the final plaque, showcasing reflective gold trim, engraved type, and a deep black surface. All components emphasize luxury, precision, and limited-edition numbering (“No. 51 of 69”).
A black-and-white technical drawing of a rectangular medallion for the Steinway & Sons Sunburst Collection. The main front view shows engraved text reading “STEINWAY & SONS,” “Sunburst,” “COLLECTION,” and “NO. 51 OF 69.” Two screw holes are positioned symmetrically on each side. Dimensions are marked: 100.00 mm width, 65.00 mm height, 1.57 mm thickness, and a 6.36 mm inset channel. A side-profile view displays thickness and screw inset detail. An additional angled perspective view shows the medallion in slight 3D form. A final bottom view labels the 65.00 mm width again. All elements are arranged on a technical documentation canvas.
