Student Work, Author Unknown, 2010s

The second Foundations exercise asks students to create dynamic compositions from curvilinear clay volumes. The same dominant, subdominant, and subordinate volumes that were integral to the rectilinear problem apply here, but curvilinear volumes depend additionally on a clever arrangement of axes to make the forms interesting from all directions.
