Pratt Institute to Host 39th Annual Food Fair on March 24
WHO: Pratt Institute Office of International Affairs (OIA) and members of the Pratt community. The OIA anticipates 300 members of the community will attend the annual event, where student volunteers represent their countries by cooking a national dish. The event is open to the public.
WHAT: Pratt Institute's Office of International Affairs will host its 39th annual International Food Fair, where members of the community are invited to sample dishes from around the world as prepared by Pratt students and staff.
The event will include performances by acoustic guitar/world fusion duo Jason and Elysa Hochman; a traditional Middle Eastern dancer (Yasmin); and will include children from Pratt's America Reads/Counts program reciting poetry in German, Mandarin, and Spanish.

$1 single ticket
$5 for seven tickets
$10 for 15 tickets

WHY: Members of the Pratt community are invited to share in the cultural traditions of Pratt's international student population. Examples of the types of cuisines offered include Escabeche and white rice (Peruvian pickled fish), bulgogi (Korean marinated meat), Smyrna (Greek meatballs with sauce), Gevista (Greek stuffed tomatoes), American pies, and passion fruit mousse (Brazil).
