Learn more about:

In August, the Board of Trustees established a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, part of Pratt’s continued commitment to raising the Institute’s shared consciousness around diversity, equity, and inclusion, and eradicating racism and injustice through Pratt’s curriculum, outreach, and mission.

Chaired by Trustee Kathryn Chenault, the DEI Committee will provide feedback and guidance to the Board and Pratt’s senior administration on the four pillars of Pratt’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategic Plan, and assess the progress and goals of the Pratt DEI Council. It will also, as a partner to the Board’s Committee on Trusteeship, develop strategies and pipelines to increase the diversity of the Board’s membership, and will recommend DEI workshops and resources for Board members. The committee held its first meeting on November 20 and will meet four times a year prior to each Board meeting.
