The New Yorker published a short story by Justin Taylor, visiting assistant professor in Pratt's Writing Program, in its August 13 and 20 issue. The story, titled “After Ellen,” is about a man who leaves his girlfriend without explanation. Taylor was interviewed about the story on the magazine's website. He has also authored a novel titled The Gospel of Anarchy (Harper Perennial 2011) and a book of short stories titled Everything Here Is The Best Thing Ever (Harper Perennial 2010).
