Gaetano Grizzanti is an identity designer living and working in Milan. He has studied graphic design, visual art and mathematics. He is a member of and has served on the board for the Italian design association, AIAP and is a member of the Italian Order of Journalists. His work has garnered numerous design awards and been featured in various publications. In addition to his work as a designer, Grizzanti has also taught at many institutes and universities and organizes conferences for students and professionals on brand identity. His book, “Brand Identikit – Transforming a Trademark into a Brand” (2011) is a best seller in Italy.
In 1986 Grizzanti founded Univisual, an independent firm specializing in brand design and consulting for corporate identity systems. He has also served as a legal consultant in Milan, performing technical analysis of trademarks and intellectual property. In 2013, he established the Campo Grafico Association, named after the historic magazine, published from 1933-1939. The association has produced a catalog accompanied by over 100 images and including all 66 original covers to highlight the magazine’s distinctiveness and peculiarity for which it was recognized globally.
