The Most Beautiful Swiss Books × Pratt

Every year, the Swiss Federal Office of Culture (FOC) organizes The Most Beautiful Swiss Books competition to honor outstanding achievements in book design to promote and showcase high-quality book production, with particular attention being paid to works that express contemporary trends.
The 23 Most Beautiful Swiss Books of the 2021 edition were named by the FOC on the recommendation of the jury, whose members are: Sereina Rothenberger (Chair), Vela Arbutina, Gina Bucher, Joost Grootens, and Gregor Huber.
Over three days the works were examined in minute detail from the perspectives of graphic design and typography, quality of printing and binding, and attention to the materials used.
The award-winning books were selected in January 2022 from among the 402 submissions that met the eligibility criteria, and were exhibited at the Helmhaus Zurich from 23–26 June 2022 before traveling to various other locations in Switzerland and abroad.
*** The exhibition will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday, 28–29 October 2022.
