Pratt Interior Design CIDA Review 2023: A Celebration of Making

The Pratt Interior Design CIDA Review and Gallery Exhibition is open to the Pratt community on Tuesday March 28, from 1:00 – 8:00pm. We are pleased to share this showcase of our BFA interior design student work – a celebration of making – to which we have returned in full force after 2+ years of hybrid teaching, learning, and making.

The models and drawings on exhibit represent all Interior Design BFA studios plus other core courses that explore drawing, making and emerging technologies. Materials are transformed by analog and digital manipulations. furniture challenges how the body occupies space, models and drawings present propositions for interior spaces and their component elements. The Interior Design department continues to challenge how we imagine and inhabit the spaces we create. We are proud of our students and the results they produce under the guidance of our faculty and we are pleased to present this capsule presentation of their making abilities.

The physical exhibit was staged as a complement to the fully digital presentation of student work for our BFA program accreditation review.
