Portfolio Workshop for MSIXD Students

Are you a current MSIXD student planning to graduate soon? Do you have questions about creating your portfolio? Attend an IXD Portfolio Workshop with SI alum Andrew Wong-Crocitto!

Workshops will be held on the following dates:

Tuesday, February 27 (6-8 PM; PMC 613 – please bring your own laptop)
Wednesday, March 7 (6-8 PM; PMC 606)
Thursday, March 29 (6-8 PM; PMC 606)

The workshop will focus on:

How to select a platform for your IXD portfolio.
How to prepare a case study to describe your projects.
How to communicate your professional identity.
How your IXD portfolio will be assessed by your faculty advisor.

This workshop focuses primarily on portfolios for SI students in the IXD program, though students in the UX certificate program are welcome to attend. For students in other SI programs, please contact your advisor for guidance.

Please note: due to the applied nature of the workshop, we recommend you wait until you have completed at least one UX project before attending a portfolio workshop.

Due dates of the IXD Portfolio are as follows:

Summer 2018 graduates: September 1, 2018
Fall 2018 graduates: November 1, 2018
Spring 2019 graduates: April 1, 2019

If you are unable to attend this workshop, additional workshops will be held in the fall semester.
